Our patented 3 layer Frontier Fabric was built by a collaboration between the engineers at James Baroud and our exclusive supplier based in Portugal.

It boasts the highest insulation, wind noise reduction, and light blocking in its class. Better performance means a better night’s rest.

Some of the marvels of the Odyssey tent are its shape and views from the inside. We always chose an organic element as inspiration for structure. The Odyssey takes its shape from the intricate curvatures of the whale shark. This design is not only eye-catching but has less wind resistance thus reducing fuel consumption. We’re also proud to feature the only tent with a 360 degree panoramic view, this not only enables incredible views, but also creates better drafts which help the tent cool down faster during warmer temperatures.

Our principles are simple, minimal impact to our environment, best quality materials and make all features easy to use. No need to overcomplicate this.

 

Those who know us are familiar with our solar powered vent fan, complementary camp light and best in class comfort mattress. But the Odyssey contains a few hidden gems to boost durability and convenience. Struts can be changed out to handle heavier weights on the rooftop bars, the bottom hull comes with a thicker lining to reduce noise and provide more insulation, and every latch is handmade from scratch in-house from a high-density polymer to prevent rust and wear from the elements.

Founded in 1999, we have been perfecting the art of tent making through high quality fabrics, mindful design and exquisite craftsmanship. The Odyssey was years in the making before arriving in showrooms across the world. I've been using this product for 2 years and it works as stated. I have sensitive skin and this doesn't irritate my skin at all. Every so often, I've asked those close to me if they've noticed any odors over the past two years and they've always replied no. I've used other brands previously that were specifically labeled as "gentle" or for "sensitive skin", which were anything but. Those were also HIGHLY scented and irritated my skin, unlike this product which is very effective without all the unnecessary chemical additives. I feel the coconut oil has soothing properties and it actually helps keep my underarm skin healthy instead of making it parched, like other brands do. This product doesn't state that it's for sensitive skin but for me it's far more gentle than any other brand I've used. I also like that it doesn't contain any harsh anti-perspirants so my body can breathe and cool itself off properly through the natural act of sweating. The act of sweating releases toxins through your skin pores so it's not healthy to impede that process. This product supports that natural process by not containing any anti-perspirant chemicals. Although it's labeled as unscented, science will tell you that everything in the world has a scent (even water) and this product has a very minimal wisp of a scent that's nearly imperceptible. Manufacturer's usually refer to this as a 'masking scent' so you don't notice the smell of chemicals in a product. However, this product has minimal chemicals (that's why I chose it) so there's not much to cover up and that's a good thing! Neither I, nor anyone else that I've asked, can detect a fragrance. The ONLY time I can smell anything is when I apply it to my underarms, so the product is obviously in closer proximity to my nose. As I glide it across my skin a faint scent of a Lifesaver's pineapple flavor candy takes me immediately back to my happy childhood memories. It lasts for a few seconds and then it's gone. Could just be me but every time I use this I end up with a smile on my face. 😊 I think this happens because your underarm skin is warm so the deodorant also warms and the solidified coconut oil melts a bit as you apply it, which releases the barely-there scent. I don't smell coconut, I smell glorious pineapple! Whoever thought to make it like this is genius! For those of you who don't smell anything for those few seconds, you're missing out.
